Skip the bustling city for an authentic Hong Kong experience even for just one day. Firstly, you must start your adventure at the Cheung Chau Main Street, a lone mecca for all things seafood, spectacular seafronts, unique rock formations, and temples. Journey further into the innermost parts of the island as you discover a bit of their religious practices at the Tin Hau Temple, in which, it's best to pay respect to the Goddess of the Sea. Stay a little bit longer for a quick stroll on the white, soft sands of Tung Wan beach. Enjoy a hearty lunch of an interesting mix local and international fares following a tiresome stroll around the mystical town. You will be taken back to the city aboard a ferry ride to Central before hopping on an open top bus for a breezy night tour around Kowloon. Itinerary:
- 9:30am meet with the guide at Central Ferry Pier No. 5
- 10:00am take ferry to Cheung Chau (45 minutes)
- 10:45am visit Cheung Chau Main Street, Pak Tai Tample, and Tung Wan beach
- Have lunch in one of the seafood restaurants in the area (at own expense)
- 1:00pm meet up at Cheung Chau Ferry Pier and return to Central
- 2:00pm take the open-top bus pass through Western Market, Queen St., Man Mo Temple, Moro St., Central Police Station, Lan Kwai Fong, Statue Square, Government headquarters, and Golden Bauhinia Square
- 2:45pm visit the brand new Avenue of Stars
- 3:15pm take the bus to Temple Street
- 3:30pm enjoy afternoon tea
- 4:00pm end of the tour
